Compulsory Program
Our compulsory program is designed to build a strong foundation of fundamental skills, technique, strength, flexibility, and confidence for developing gymnasts. Athletes learn and perform standardized routines on each event, ensuring consistent skill progression and proper form while emphasizing basics such as body positions, shapes, and execution. In the USA Gymnastics program, compulsory levels include Levels 1–5, with Levels 1–3 focusing on basic movement patterns and introductory skills, and Levels 4–5 introducing more advanced compulsory routines that prepare gymnasts for optional-level competition. This structured pathway helps gymnasts develop safely and successfully as they advance in the sport.
Xcel Program
Our Xcel gymnastics program is a flexible, athlete-centered competitive pathway that allows gymnasts to progress at an individualized pace while balancing training, school, and other activities. Instead of standardized compulsory routines, gymnasts perform more personalized routines that meet specific skill and value requirements, encouraging creativity and accommodating different strengths and abilities. The USA Gymnastics Xcel program includes Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond levels, providing a progressive structure that supports skill development, confidence, and long-term participation in the sport while offering an alternative to the traditional compulsory and optional tracks.
Optional Program
Our optional program is designed for advanced gymnasts who are ready to perform individualized routines that showcase higher-level skills and artistry, that meet specific difficulty and composition requirements. Allowing optional athletes to highlight their strengths while continuing to develop power, precision, and performance quality. In the USA Gymnastics program, optional levels include Levels 6–10, with increasing difficulty and complexity at each level, preparing gymnasts for high-level competition and, in some cases, collegiate or elite pathways.
